Advanced Cardiac Life Support - OB ACLS Recertifcation

The American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an instructor lead, classroom format which is combined with DVD, lecture and skill stations. Lots of hands on experience with defibrillators and High Quality CPR. Perfect 1 full day course for those who care for pregnant or newly delivered patients. 

 

Prerequisites:

  1. Current ACLS Provider Card
  2. Completion of the AHA ACLS Pretest
  3. Completion of the online AHA BLS for the Healthcare Provider if also certifying in BLS
  4. Familiarity with resuscitation equipment
  5. Knowledge in ECG interpretation
  6. Suggested review of Acute Coronary Syndrome video and Stroke video if only attending Day 1 to re-certify.

1.) 2020 AHA Textbook of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Manual

2.) 2020 vAHA ACLS Algorithm cards

3.) AHA Heartcode BLS online program if generating a BLS card

NOTE -  IF GENERATING A BLS CARD: ADD THE HEARTCODE BLS ONLINE PROGRAM TO YOUR CART TO BE  EMAILED YOUR COURSE LINK. PROMO CODES WILL COVER THE COST OF THIS ADD-ON

 

Students have the option of generating a BLS card in all ACLS classes with the completion of the AHA Heart Code online program
