ACLS Prep Recertification with BLS skills (Digital Exam Format)

Class Price: $275.00
Notes: Class is located in the basement of the Dillon Surgery Center. Take a left off the elevators and another left down the only hallway going left. (restrooms are located down this hallway). First conference room on the left.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS Recertification

HEN ACLS Prep Online Program (1 hour to complete ) followed by 2-hour skills session More prep time/ less classroom time.

The 1-hour Online Prep Course (Kristin’s lecture) and completion of the AHA pre-test, and assigned AHA Digital Exam will be followed by 2- hour skills and will replace the 4- or 8-hour face-to-face classroom. This online course will prepare the student with the Stable- Unstable- Dead and Really Dead lecture (with interactive ECG examples) . Students will then meet with an instructor for 2-hour skill verification. 

  • HEN Online Prep followed by a 2-hour skill verification and completion of digital exam PRIOR to class.
  • Digital FINAL exam is completed  prior to the 2.0-hour skills class.
  • If BLS certification is needed during the scheduled ACLS Recertification course, the AHA BLS HeartCode online program will be utilized (as per usual for HEN classes) and will need to be completed prior to the recertification course. 

  

Prerequisites:

  1. A current ACLS Provider Card
  2. Completion of the AHA  pretest and post test 
  3. Completion of Kristin's Stable-Unstable- Just Dead and Really Dead lecture
  4. Completion of the AHA ACLS Digital FINAL Exam 
  5. Familiarity with resuscitation equipment
  6. Knowledge in ECG interpretation
  7. If generating a BLS Card: Completion of the AHA Heart Code BLS Online program 

NOTE -  IF GENERATING A BLS CARD: ADD THE HEARTCODE BLS ONLINE PROGRAM TO YOUR CART TO BE  EMAILED YOUR COURSE LINK. PROMO CODES WILL COVER THE COST OF THIS ADD-ON
